Refund Policy

1. Scope
This Refund Policy explains when and how we offer refunds for purchases of PixPrompter subscriptions processed through our third‑party payment provider and/or merchant of record (the "Payment Provider"). It applies to digital subscriptions to the PixPrompter Chrome extension and related services (the "Service").
2. Evaluation and information
Where available, you can evaluate PixPrompter using free or limited‑access options, documentation and examples before purchasing a paid subscription. We encourage you to review this information and test the Service before committing to a paid plan.
3. First‑time subscription refunds
We want you to be confident in your first purchase. For first‑time subscriptions:
- If you are not satisfied with the Service, you may request a refund within 30 days of your initial purchase, subject to this Policy.
- To request a refund, contact us at support@pixprompter.com and include your order details (such as the email used for the purchase and the order or subscription reference).
We may decline a refund request if we have a good‑faith reason to believe that the request is abusive, fraudulent, or clearly inconsistent with this Policy (for example, repeated refunds for the same user or use that goes far beyond reasonable evaluation and internal use).
4. Renewals and cancellations
- Subscriptions may renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before renewal, following the instructions provided by the Service or the Payment Provider.
- When you cancel, your subscription will typically remain active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again unless you reactivate or purchase a new subscription.
- Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise in this Policy, we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, unused time or unused features once a renewal has been processed.
5. Plan changes
- If you upgrade your plan, the change may be applied immediately or at the next billing period, depending on how the upgrade is configured by the Payment Provider.
- If you downgrade your plan, the change may take effect at the end of the current billing period and you may lose access to certain features at that time.
- Unless required by law, we do not provide refunds for downgrades or other plan changes within an already paid billing period.
6. Purchases via third parties
If you purchased access to PixPrompter through a third party (for example, as part of a bundle or via a marketplace that is not directly managed by us or our Payment Provider), your refund rights may be governed by that third party’s terms and policies. In such cases, you may need to request any refund directly from the third party where you made the purchase.
7. Legal rights and exceptions
Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection or other mandatory laws. If such laws give you a mandatory right to a refund, cooling‑off period or other protections, we will comply with those obligations.
8. How to request a refund
To request a refund under this Policy:
- Email us at support@pixprompter.com.
- Include your full name, the email address used for the purchase, your order or subscription reference (if available), and a brief explanation of the reason for your request.
We may ask for additional information to verify your identity and your purchase. We aim to review refund requests within a reasonable timeframe and will inform you of the outcome by email. Approved refunds are typically processed by the Payment Provider to the original payment method, subject to the Payment Provider’s policies and technical limitations.
9. Changes to this Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice (for example, on the website or by email). Your continued use of the Service after any changes take effect means that you accept the updated Refund Policy.
